Gadi’s Bakery: A Sweet Journey with Love and Passion

At Gadi’s Bakery, the sweet journey began with a heart full of love and passion, inspired by the joy of our beloved daughter, Gadi. We started this enchanting venture as a family, determined to share our love for baking with the world and to create moments of delight for everyone who walks through our doors.

Our story took root in the bustling streets of Cuba, where we, Yuset Godoy and Milagros Perello, faced challenges in a country that lacked freedom. Despite our professional backgrounds as an engineer and a nurse, making a decent living seemed like an elusive dream. However, we clung to our family’s tradition of baking as a way to survive and find happiness amidst adversity.

With each cake, pastry, and dessert we lovingly crafted, we discovered the true magic of baking – the ability to bring joy and smiles to people’s faces. Our passion soared, and after years of dedication, we proudly operated two successful bakeries in Cuba. Yet, fate had other plans, and to protect what we had built, we made the difficult decision to leave Cuba behind.

In 2017, we arrived in the United States, full of hope and dreams for a brighter future. Starting a transportation business provided stability, but our hearts yearned for more. The dream of establishing our own bakery, named after our precious daughter, Gadi, never faded. It became our beacon of hope, a symbol of love that guided us through every obstacle.

Today, Gadi’s Bakery stands as a testament to the journey of a family’s love and resilience. With each creation, we infuse our heritage and traditions, blending them with the rich flavors of our exquisite treats.
